An eight-goal thriller at Lon Bach ended honours even.
Long-distance travellers Henllan started the better and took the lead on 8 minutes when a Magi Pierce pass found Abby Cattell, who beat two defenders before shooting low into the corner.
Five minutes later the villagers made it two when centre-half Pierce carried the ball into midfield before putting through Beth Roberts, who finished emphatically.
Amlwch made it 2-1 on 24 minutes when Gwen Jones tapped in after a shot came back off the post.
Beth Roberts restored Henllan’s two-goal lead with her 23rd of the campaign from a Rhian Edwards assist on 40 minutes.
Just before half time, Pierce brought down Tesni Hughes. With the home team screaming for the red card the referee deemed it only a yellow for the Henllan captain.
Soon after, Hughes made it 3-2.
The dangerous Hughes equalised on 48 minutes when she rounded keeper Siwan Williams and walked the ball into the net.
On the hour, the Denbighshire side were awarded a penalty which Cattell converted for her 11th goal of the season.
Amlwch made it 4-4 10 minutes later when the impressive Cerys Gadd scored from the spot.
With 20 minutes left, the game could have gone either way, with Amlwch keeper Ceri Pritchard making two saves and the home side looking dangerous on the break, Gadd always looking to release Jones and Hughes up front.
A very entertaining game with a fair result.
Henllan had won the reverse fixture 9-0, so a much better outcome for Amlwch on Sunday.

Matthews netted on three and eight to put Llan in early command and it remained 2-0 up to the interval.
Kinmel Bay pulled one back on 62 through a Seren Williams penalty, but a Lauren Morris-Bannister goal after 76 made it 3-1 to the hosts.
Williams replied again for the visitors on 83 with her fourth goal of the season, but the points went to Sion Parry’s home side.
Bay lost their unbeaten record in the group at the hands of a Berriew side which joined them on six points.
Trearddur had won the reverse game in Powys 4-2 in September, but the Rhiewsiders gained revenge at Lon Isallt.
