If Amlwch Town Ladies are to win any cup competitions this season, they will certainly have to do it the hard way.
On the back of drawing North Wales League Division One leaders Llanfair United away in the Betty Pickering Cup quarter-finals, the Anglesey side must also travel to Powys in the semi-finals of the NEWFA Cup this Sunday.
They then return to Mount Field seven days later for their much-postponed Betty Pickering Cup tie (March 8).
To complete the set, Amlwch have already had to make the journey to Llanfair once this season in the Welsh Cup back on October 20.
The runaway Division Two leaders put up a superb effort, losing 3-1 with Lexi Crawley their scorer, Mary Bailey (2) and Sarah Ellis for the hosts.
Llanfair have only played once so far in 2020 because of the atrocious weather, winning 8-0 at Caernarfon Town in the NEWFA Cup. Amlwch defeated Rhyl in the same competition in their last outing on February 16.
