Rhyl 1879 striker Sade Benjamin has become the third Lilywhites player in the past five days to sign for coastal rivals Llandudno.
However, a key forward has left Tudno to sign for a fellow Genero Adran North club. More details to follow.
Benjamin follows ex-Rhyl regulars Rachael Thomas and Cassie Thomas in switching camps to the Genero Adran North champions.
The 29-year-old has amassed 69 first team goals across the past four seasons for NFA and 1879 respectively.
She was the first NFA player to reach 50 league and cup goals and is the team’s all-time top markswoman.
Sade’s best total in a season is 27 for NFA in 2022-23, when she finished third highest in the North Wales Women’s League with 25 goals.
Llandudno will be her fourth senior North Wales club following spells with Rhyl Development, NFA and Rhyl 1879. She also used to represent Prestatyn Girls.
The departure of three such crucial players from Rhyl 1879 over the past few games has left huge gaps in the squad which will need to be filled.
