Flint ensured they finished top of Group 2 with a 100 percent record after a thumping victory over Felinheli which featured hat-tricks from Jennifer Haynes and Zoe Stopford.

Haynes continued her flying start to the season with goals on six and 14 minutes, Kaelyn Williams and Stopford with the assists.

Williams was again the provider when Stopford made it 3-0 on 17 minutes.

And it was soon four, Haynes this time with the assist and last season’s top-scorer Stopford with the finish.

Felinheli gave themselves a glimmer of hope when Elsi Williams opened their account before half time.

If the contest was not over by the break, then it certainly was within the first five minutes of the second half as Williams delivered a quickfire double – her first goals since returning to the Silkwomen over the summer.

Three home players were now in the race for a hat-trick and Stopford won the day, making it 7-1 from a Ruby Hastings assist with 57 on the clock.

Rubie Davies put away a second for Felin before Haynes completed her personal treble, Williams this time setting her up.

Zoe Stopford fires home Flint

Felin captain Fflur Williams made it 8-3 on 75, but the final word went to the home team, the gifted Rosie Hughes rounding off the scoring, benefiting from Williams’ fourth assist of the afternoon.

Awesome from Flint against a team which played a major role in last season’s Genero Adran North title race.
