As is always the case against Llanrwst, this was a hard task for Rhyl, but the Lilywhites emerged victorious to edge into second in Ardal North West.

The second half continued in a similar vein with both sides having spells of dominance. The hosts had numerous chances to increase their lead on the break as Llanrwst pushed for the equaliser, but there was no further scoring.
Town were beaten for the first time this season, Llion Morris grabbing the winner from a David Lawson-Cooke assist after 12 minutes.
Llannefydd had team manager Ally Stubbs dismissed from the bench for a second yellow card after just five minutes. Lewys Turner was shown a straight red for the visitors on 51, but the 10 men held on for a notable victory
Sam Henry was a hat-trick hero for a Corwen side which recorded a league win for just the second time this season.
Henry struck on 49, 68 and 76 minutes for the hosts, who led 1-0 at half time courtesy of a Tom Mann goal with 28 on the clock. Tom Williams also found the target after 72 minutes.

It stayed at 1-0 until the 89th minute, when Ifan Mansoor equalised.
And Town were not settling for a point, as a minute later Mo El-Arab grabbed the decider.
The Colliers came out on top in the battle of the league’s bottom two sides at Treflan.
Brothers Niall Freeman and Tom Freeman led the Chirk line well in the first half. Niall notched Chirk’s first goal on 18 minutes after good work from Tom.
Llansantffraid almost equalised immediately when they hit the bar from close range. Chirk squandered numerous chances before Cameron Roberts hit their second on the stroke of half time to make it 2-0 at the interval.
Llansantffraid came out fighting in the second half and only a good near post save from Chirk keeper Jack Morgan kept them out. Chirk failed to repeat their first half performance and it was the home side in the ascendancy.
However, Chirk’s defence held firm with youngsters Dylan Northall and Ashton Valentine putting in a good shift in the full back positions.
Llansantffraid pulled a goal back on the hour direct from a corner.
The home side pushed for the equaliser but Chirk held on to claim all 3 points.
Rhys Hughes, Richie Ricketts, Steff Davies and Callum Page shared the goals which delivered the leaders a deserved victory, Tom Smith replying from the penalty spot for Albion.
Early season sparklers Llangollen became the first side to inflict a league defeat on Brickfield this season.
Ben Wilson gave the visitors a 28th minute lead, but Jay Richardson levelled before half time.
Wilson bagged the winner in the second half – his eighth goal of the campaign.

Davies nabbed his second for the Wrexham side just before the hour and 2-2 it how it stayed. Penycae had William Nevitt red-carded on 86 minutes.
