NORTH WALES COAST LEAGUE EAST DIVISION ONE

Blue Bridge 1-6 Prestatyn Wanderers

A record win for Prestatyn Wanderers and just their fifth in 27 games since forming at the start of last season.

Steve Taylor’s side fell behind in the 11th minute when Kraig Brophy edged newly-formed Blue Bridge ahead.

However, Wanderers came back with a vengeance, netting five goals before the break.

Wanderers on the attack. Great action from ROY GUNTHER

Mason Kenny scored two, Deacan Leuty was on target and Kelvin Berks notched a quick double.

Petrit Mehmeti provided two assists, while Deiniol Bower contributed one.

The goals calmed down in the second half, but Wanderers remained in command, Kenny completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot.

CPD Henllan 3-2 Penrhyn Bay

Sub Efan Davies delivered a 90th minute winner for hosts Henllan.

Stan Farrell struck first for Penrhyn Bay in the second minute and it stayed 1-0 to the visitors up to the interval.

Steffan Jones levelled on 55, but Farrell netted again for Bay after 67 with his fifth goal in as many matches.

Jones soon made it 2-2 from the penalty spot and it looked like it would end up a draw until keeper Liam Davies supplied the assist for 74th minute sub Efan Davies to bag the decider.
