Pictured are four qualifiers for the final from left to right, Dion Jones (Penmaenmawr B), Gareth M Williams (Craig Y Don A), Glyn Jones Rhos Park A), Peter Abrahams (Rhos-on-Sea A).

On arguably the wettest day of this inclement season, eight players qualified for the final of the Colwyn and Llandudno League President’s Day Individual Merits to be held this Sunday, 15th September, at Penmaenmawr Bowling Club, 2pm start.

Clwb Bowlio Rhuddlan staged one of the qualifying rounds of this prestigious competition.

Well done to green keeper Iwan Davies and his team for essential preparation. Thanks also to those willing club volunteers whose hard work ensured a successful conclusion on such a rain swept surface.
