ARDAL NORTH LEAGUE CUP

Llangollen Town 6-4 Cefn Albion
Will Cooke was a hat-trick hero as Llangollen continued their great start to the season with a derby victory over Cefn Albion at Tower Field.
Town led 3-1 at the break through goals from Jack Hanley and a Will Cooke brace.
Cefn came out strongly in the second half and pulled level, but further strikes though Vinnie Cooke and Ben Wilson, plus Will Cooke securing his treble, meant Llangollen advanced to the next round ot the Ardal North League Cup.
Tyler Wilkinson, Conner Kendrick, Alex Williams and Dion Gibbins were the Albion marksmen.

Bow Street 4-2 Llandrindod Wells
Callum Page (2, 1 pen), Sion Ewart and John James shared the goals which pushed Bow to victory, Liam Hall and Thomas Durant replying.

Brickfield Rangers 2-2 Llanfair United (Brickfield won 5-4 on pens
Brickfield needed spot-kicks to see off a stubborn Llanfair and make it nine wins in as many games this season.
Andy Vale and Jay Richardson struck for the Brickie in normal time, a Ryan Price own goal and Flynn Morris net-finder keeping the Powys visitors in the contest.

Builth Wells 1-1 Kerry (Kerry won 4-3 on pens)
Kerry advanced on pens at Lant Fields after a 1-1 draw.
Captain Barry Bellis put the visitors ahead on 39 minutes, but Daniel Hall equalised from the spot before half time.

Corwen 0-0 Holyhead Hotspur (match abandoned – injury)
This tie was abandoned at 0-0 in the second half following a serious leg injury suffered by Hotspur’s Cai Parry.
Everyone wishes Cai as full and as speedy a recovery as possible.

Llanidloes Town 1-1 Penycae (Llanidloes won 3-1 on pens)
William Nevitt handed Penycae a 50th minute lead, but Keegan Bradley soon equalised and the tie went to penalties, with Llanidloes coming out on top.

CPD Llanuwchllyn 5-0 Chirk AAA
Goal machine Meilir Williams bagged a hat trick – including a penalty – in an emphatic win for Llanuwchllyn.
Joe Vaughan and Gwydion Roberts also found the net in this all-Ardal North East clash.

CPD Llannefydd 7-1 Conwy Borough
Ruthless display from Llannefydd where David Lawson-Cooke and Llion Morris scored two each, Edward Jones, Tom Jones and Michael Guest also on target, Macsen Rhys-Williams replying for Conwy, who had captain James Lansdowne dismissed for two yellows.

Llansantffraid 2-1 Rhos Aelwyd
A goal from sub Scott Reeves was not enough to save Rhos from defeat at Llansantffraid, Dan Hine and Alex Mane the home scorers.

Nantlle Vale 3-1 St Asaph City
A Paris Gray own goal set Nantlle on their way before Rhys Jones and Llion Griffiths put the hosts three-up.
Gray pulled one back for Saints in the second half.

NFA 5-0 Pwllheli
Archie Jones’ second half hat-trick, which included a penalty, put the seal on a resounding win for NFA, Kai Davies and Cammron Morris their other marksmen.

Radnor Valley 2-1 Dolgellau Athletic
Joshua Traylor-Hall and Joe Price pocketed the goals which ensured Radnor advanced, Gerwyn Williams with a late consolation for Dolgellau.

Trearddur Bay 5-1 Menai Bridge Tigers
Former Welsh Premier striker Les Davies proved he still has plenty of goal magic left as he scored three times for Trearddur in this all-Anglesey tie.
The 39-year-old made it nine goals in eight matches for a club he joined last season.
James Leatherbarrow and Kaine Bantley nabbed one apiece for the hosts, Menai’s consolation coming via an Anthony Marshall own goal.

CPD Y Felinheli 3-1 Connah’s Quay Town
Elis Williams, captain Iwan Owen and Cai La Trobe-Roberts found the net in this fine win for Felinheli over tier 3 newcomers Town, who have began the season extremely well.
Ben Hughes was the Deesiders’ sole marksman.

CPD Y Rhyl 1879 1-1 Porthmadog (Porthmadog won 6-5 on pens)
Porthmadog’s Ollie Farebrother made the match-winning penalty save which ensured the visitors edged a thrilling shoot-out 6-5.
Rhyl had earlier led through Sam Ashton, only for 10-man Port, who had top-scorer Tom Hilditch dismissed for two yellows on 26 minutes, to equalise through a quality Cai Jones finish in the latter stages.
John Littlemore struck the woodwork twice for the visitors, who also forced Rhyl keeper Jake Cooke into some great stops.

FAW CYMRU RESERVES NORTH EAST

Connah’s Quay Nomads 6-3 NFA U23
Jamie Brennan’s hat-trick inspired Nomads under-18s to a 6-3 win over NFA.
James Hughes, Harry Connolly and Calum Simpson also scored to seal a fourth straight win, Liam Bowers (2) and sub Billy Patterson responding.

Llay Welfare 1-9 Flint Mountain
Nine of the best from early leaders Mountain, who made it five wins out of five.
Ben Richards was a six-goal star for the visitors, Charlie Cottis with a double and sub Luca Filby with a single, a Dom McHugh own goal accounting for Llay’s reply.

The New Saints 15-0 Mold Alexandra
Thomas Blaze netted four, Alfred Cartwright a hat-trick, while, Hadif Hizamshol, Peter Arogundade and Lewis Wynne added two apiece in this overwhelming Saints win.

NORTH WALES COAST EAST LEAGUE

Division One

Kyle Lally struck 4 times for Albion

Blue Bridge 2-6 Rhyl Albion
Kyle Lally netted four times in Albion’s emphatic local derby victory.
Macca Lewis and Keiran Kendrick also found the mark, Jacob Benjamin and Jonny Mee hitting back for Blue Bridge, who had Dylan Renney red-carded.

Llysfaen 3-2 Prestatyn Wanderers
A close-fought win for the hosts with Jake Reynolds, Ben Rawlinson and a Dan Batey penalty seeing them home, Harry Thomas and Kelvin Berks responding for Wanderers.
Nihat Sutlubulak of Llysfaen was sent off for two yellows.

Prestatyn Sports 4-1 Penrhyn Bay
Mike Jones (2), Alex Garrett and Kris Owen delivered the goals which brought Sports a third straight victory, Tom Cotterell pulling one back for Bay.

Rhos United 3-2 Llandudno Swifts
Five wins on the bounce for leaders Rhos, Chris King, Lewis Sealey and Mike Chapman with the goals, Freddie Banning and Jake Carey finding the net for Swifts, who had Frank Montgomery dismissed for two yellows.

NORTH WALES COAST WEST LEAGUE

Division One

Bethesda Rovers 2-4 Caergybi
Long-time Anglesey net-finder Barry Haigh bagged a double – his first goals for Caergybi – sub Gary Owen and Owain Griffiths also on target in a fine win at Bethesda, who replied via subs Tommy Roberts and Tomos Williams,

Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs 4-0 Llangoed & District
Good result for Blaenau, Sion Roberts with a first-half hat-trick before Sion Hughes added a second half penalty.

CPD Cefni 0-2 Amlwch Town
Fine win on the road for Amlwch, Callum Hughes and Cian Evans their scorers.

CPD Deiniolen 2-0 Valley Seniors
Arwyn Price and Ethan Kiernan both made the scoresheet as Deiniolen celebrated back-to-back wins.

Holyhead Town 4-1 CPD Mountain Rangers
Town’s improvement continued with a 4-1 victory over Rangers.
Craig Moore (2, 1 pen), Bryn Roberts and Paul Williams shared the home tally, Stuart Cooke converting an 80th minute penalty for the visitors, who had Daniel Owen red-carded late on.

NORTH EAST WALES FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Premier Division

Caerwys 0-4 Penyffordd Lions
Alister Randles and Brandon Jones netted two apiece for Lions in this away victory.

Castell Alun Colts 1-2 FC Queen’s Park
Mike Latham and Liam Lawrence notched the all-important goals which sealed three points for the Park, Daniel Woosey responding.

Greenfield 1-3 Plas Madoc
Nicky Williams’ double and a Ryan Jakovlevs single banked the spoils for Madoc, Jack Gibbons the sole Greenfield marksman.

CPD Gronant 2-2 Mynydd Isa
Steve Kirk and Adam Woosey (pen) were Gronant’s scoresheet entries, but a Nathan Mendoza pair earned a point for table-toppers Isa.

Lex XI 1-2 Coedpoeth United
Aaron Camplin’s 90th minute penalty for Coedpoeth condemned Lex to their first league defeat.
Jack Massey had edged Coedy ahead before Nathan Davies replied.

Ruabon Rovers 2-3 Hawarden Rangers
Connor Parry, Matthew Birks and Haydn Cartwright, who was later red-carded, supplied the goals which earned Hawarden three points, Kyle Evans and captain Chris Bennion with the Ruabon responses.

Saltney Town 1-7 Rhostyllen
Tom Douglas and Sam Chesters scored three apiece for the visitors, Jordan Ellis also on the mark in a thumping victory, sub Sean Williams the sole Saltney net-finder.

Championship Division

Acton 2-2 Aston Park Rangers
Sub Matthew Leedham grabbed an equaliser six minutes into added time for nine-man Aston Park.
A Goss Quinn own goal gave Acton a second-minute lead, then Joe Garner added a second to make it 2-0 at the break.
Josh Roberts cut the deficit on 77, but in the 93rd minute Rangers had Thomas Beacher and Joe Sanders both sent off for second yellows.
Nonetheless, the visitors managed to poach that late equaliser.

Bellevue 0-5 Cei Connah
Paddy Sam Jones banged in a second-half hat-trick for Cei Connah.
Luke Williams and Andrew Hornsby netted for the visitors in the first half.

Broughton United 3-0 Cefn Druids
Leaders Broughton downed the Druids with goals from Ryan Pearce, Jake Jones and sub Aj Delaney.

Brymbo 2-1 Rhydymwyn
Third-place Brymbo were very proud to hand Rhydymwyn in second their first defeat of the season.
Riley Griffiths and Toby Hughes gave the Steelmen a two-goal lead before sub Liam Simon replied late on.

Deeside Dragons 2-10 Sychdyn United
Joe Mitchell (4), Kieran Jones (2), captain Ross Walker, Adam Woosey (pen), Daniel Mountstephen and Shay Davies combined to run up double figures for Sychdyn, Lewis Theaker and Luke Norry the Dragons responders.

Johnstown YFC 5-1 Deeside United
Dewi Reeves shone with a hat-trick for Johnstown, Aaron Filmer and Rowan Birch one apiece, captain Kian Jones putting United on the scoreboard.

Overton Recreational 4-3 Holywell United
James Parry scored but was also red-carded late on for victorious Overton, whose other goals came via Mark Matthews, Peter Thedens and Matthew Tombs, Owen Marley and Kieran Durkin having given Holywell a 2-1 half time lead. Rhys Powell claimed a late third for the visitors.

Yr Wyddgrug 8-2 Skippy
Lewis James (3), Luke Thomas (2), Jack Leonard-Gill (2) and Alun Wilson split the riches for the hosts, Jayden Jones among the Skippy scorers.
