CPD Aberffraw appoint new manager/rheolwr newydd

Pob lwc Mike

Ynys Môn football club CPD Aberffraw have appointed a new manager for the 2024-25 season.

Mike Jones has agreed to become the latest boss of the Tier 4 North Wales Coast West League Premier Division side.

Jones will replace Dave Harper, following the latter’s decision to step down from the role three weeks ago.

The new chief arrives at Berffro with a great understanding of the club, the expectation of the supporters and Welsh football as a whole.

During his playing career, he operated primarily as a defender, turning out for Aberffraw as well as Llangefni Town and Deiniolen before hanging up his boots in 2013.

Jones has acted quickly since taking over the reins, making numerous exciting signings ready for the 2024/25 season.

Although he hasn’t had the opportunity for a pre-season, the mixture of experience and youth that are committing to Aberffraw should bode well for a stirring campaign which gets underway next weekend.

Mae Clwb Pêl-droed Aberffraw yn falch iawn o gyhoeddi bod Mike Jones wedi cytuno i fod yn rheolwr newydd y clwb.

Bydd Mike yn cymryd lle Dave Harper wrth y llyw yn dilyn ei benderfyniad i roi’r gorau i’r swydd 3 wythnos yn ôl.

Mae Mike yn cyrraedd Berffro gyda dealltwriaeth wych o’r clwb, disgwyliadau’r cefnogwyr a phêl-droed Cymru yn ei gyfanrwydd. Yn ystod ei yrfa chwarae gwych, bu’n gweithredu’n bennaf fel amddiffynnwr, gan chwarae i Aberffraw yn ogystal â Thref Llangefni a Deiniolen cyn hongian ei esgidiau yn 2013.

Mae Mike wedi gweithredu’n gyflym ers cymryd yr awenau, gan wneud nifer o lofnodion cyffrous yn barod ar gyfer tymor 2024/25.

Er nad yw wedi cael y cyfle ar gyfer rhag-dymor, dylai’r cymysgedd o brofiad a’r ieuenctid sy’n ymrwymo i Aberffraw argoeli’n dda ar gyfer tymor cyffrous yr ydym yn edrych ymlaen at ddechrau’r penwythnos nesaf.
