The make-up of reserve league football in North Wales is set for a major restructure
Tier 3 clubs whose second teams operated in the FAW Reserve League North last season will be given the option of joining area association leagues.
In the case of the North East Wales Football League, many who competed at FAW reserve level last season have taken up this new option.
As a result the NEWFL has announced the following reserve divisions will be introduced in 2024-25. Just one reserve division was in place last season, but that will double for the campaign ahead.
Nine teams will be in each division.
News on the North Wales Coast Development Divisions is awaited.
