NORTH WALES COAST EAST LEAGUE PREVIEW

Two massive games in the Premier Division take place on Tuesday night (April 30).

Leaders NFA travel to next-bottom Abergele, while third-place Cerrigydrudion, just a point behind the table-toppers, visit mid-table Mochdre.

Both NFA and Cerrig have three games left apiece – one of them against each other in Rhyl on Saturday, May 4.

Premier Division

Abergele 0 Cerrigydrudion 4

Premier Division top-scorer Tom Watkin-Jones struck twice in an emphatic win for title-chasers Cerrig which boosted his league total to 21 goals.

The visitors were being held 0-0 at half time by lowly Abergele before taking control after the break.

Harri Watkin-Jones broke the deadlock on 47 minutes, then Tom Watkin-Jones netted two, one from the penalty spot, before Iorwerth Jones added number four after 76.

NFA 2 Mochdre Sports 0

Ryan Roberts and Matthew Rees supplied the goals which sent NFA back to the Premier summit.

Mochdre defender Charles Lloyd was red-carded in the 89th minute.

Rhuddlan Town 3 Llanfairfechan Town 6

All three Croston brothers shared the goals as Llanfairfechan rattled in six at bottom team Rhuddkan.

Harry Croston grabbed a hat-trick, Elliot Croston delivered a double and Thomas Croston added a single to complete a great family outing.

Ryan Gordon, Kris Owen and Andy Booker responded for the hosts.

Division One

Betws y Coed 2 Llandudno Amateurs 8

Despite missing key regulars, second-place Amateurs chalked up eight goals at Betws.

Joe Jones nabbed a hat-trick, Mike Chapman and Kyle King scored two apiece and Morgan Davies was also on the mark.

Simon Blain scored twice for Betws, who had Kane Astles sent off for a second yellow with 89 on the clock.

Steven Collins (2, 1 pen) was the difference between the sides, Ben Rawlinson also missing from the spot for the home team.

A 10th straight league win for Y Glannau, Luke Stanley, Joey Fontana and Owen Williams with the away goals.

Jake Reddaway was sent off for the visitors after receiving a second yellow card on 66 minutes.

Gabriel George had brought Rhos level in the first half.

Champions Bow delivered a four-goal salvo at Bastion Gardens, Kyle Robb, Loui O’Carroll, Robbie Parry and John Atherton all on target.
