A father and son both won their respective football league titles in the same weekend.
Darren Evans, 36, was part of the Plas Madoc squad which secured the North East Wales Championship Division crown with a 4-1 win over Yr Wyddgrug last Friday.
And son Evan Evans lifted the Wrexham and District Junior Football League title with Cefn Mawr Rangers Under-12s.
Darren’s former clubs include Cefn Mawr Rangers and Cefn Albion.
He joined the re-formed FC Plas Madoc this season and has featured in 14 games for the team.
Madoc have won 22 of their 23 matches in the Championship, scoring a phenomenal 144 goals.
Cefn Mawr Rangers U12s won 11 of their 12 league matches, netting 59 goals to pip runners-up Gresford Athletic to the title.
