Lewys Jones was a hat-trick hero for a Llansannan side which went top of the table on goal difference with a 6-1 thrashing of Y Glannau.

Jones’ treble came in the second half on 60, 75 and 88 minutes after a Gruffudd Roberts double and Andrew Thomas single had put the hosts three-up.

Captain Ste Kirk nabbed a consolation for the visitors in the second half.

After uncharacteristically kicking off their league campaign with three straight defeats Cerrig got off the mark at Bro Cernyw on Tuesday night.

Tirion Griffiths supplied the only goal of the match on 48 minutes from a Jac Edwards assist.

Glan Conwy 2 Conwy Borough Swifts 3

Ten-man Borough recovered from a goal down to take all three points at Cae Ffwt.

Sixteen-year-old Harrison McQueen gave Glan Conwy a first minute lead, but Ethan Hill equalised with a fine strike into the top corner after 12.

The visitors were reduced to 10 when Anthony Gustafson was shown a straight red card on 17 minutes.

Nonetheless, Boro edged in front when Jake Carey finished off a well-worked move on 35.

Early in the second half, McQueen made it 2-2, Christian West with his second assist.

However, the visitors grabbed the winner after 71 minutes when a free kick was played into the box, the ball pinged around and Sam Jones pounced to score.

Llanfairfechan Town 6 Rhos United 1

Three Croston brothers shared four of Llanfairfechan;s six goals – Elliot netting twice, while Harry and Thomas scored one each.

Cyril Carey and Osian Roberts were also on target for the dominant hosts, Adam Williams the Rhos’ sole respondant.
