NORTH EAST WALES LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION

Seventeen-year-old sensation Ryan Jakovlevs clinched the league title for Plas Madoc with a hat-trick which put him on 31 goals for the season.
It was the perfect way to be crowned champions for Plas, who have won 22 out of 23 matches and piled up a ridiculous 144 goals in the process.
Jakovlevs is now outright top-scorer for Madoc in terms of league goals, his 31 putting him ahead of Jamie Williams (28) and Nicky Williams (25).
Needing just a point on Friday evening to be confirmed as champions, Ryan Roberts’ side were being held 0-0 at the break, but five minutes into the second half, Josh Rush set up Jakovlevs for the opener.
The shackles were now off as Jakovlevs struck again on 53 and Josh Williams added a third with 55 on the clock.
Jakovlevs completed his hat-trick on 76 before Lewis James bagged a late consolation for Yr Wyddgrug.
NORTH EAST WALES LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION
Lex XI 2 (K Davies 2)
Corwen 2 (Webster pen, Cordiner)
Leaders Corwen moved six points clear at the summit but were pegged back by an 89th minute equaliser from Lex two-goal hero Kian Davies.
Much-improved in recent games, having won three on the bounce, the Law went a goal down to an Alex Webster 25th minute penalty, but Davies levelled from a Ricky Evans assist on 28.
Corwen regained the lead on 76 minutes through Owen Cordiner’s 31st goal in all competitions this season, but Davies sealed the draw with his 15th of the campaign in league matches.
Corwen need another 7 points from their final six league games to make sure of the Premier title.
JD CYMRU NORTH
Buckley Town 3 (Littler 7 & 73, Burgess 40)
Chirk AAA 2 (Edwards 43 & 86)
Buckley will have been relieved to get over line in this final league game of the season for both sides.
Town looked in control when Connor Littler edged them ahead on seven minutes and Dan Burgess made it 2-0 after 40, however Rhys Edwards hit back for the Colliers with 43 gone.
Littler pocketed Bucks’ third on 73 minutes, but Chirk were not giving up.
The visitors earned a penalty after 83 which Max Mclaughlin missed, but Edwards put away his second on 86 to set up a tight finish at The Globe.
