Who have Welsh Cricket Cup champions Colwyn Bay drawn first up in 2024?

Colwyn Bay will begin their defence of the Welsh Cricket Cup with a visit to Mochdre on May 12.

Bay won the national knockout for the second time in their history last year, beating Swansea in the final with a fantastic performance.

This year the Bay have been entered in North Zone 2, alongside Bangor, Denbigh, Halkyn, Llandudno, Mochdre, Northop, Prestatyn and St Asaph.

The Cricket Wales Senior Open Welsh Cup is a knock-out 40 Over competition which all affiliated clubs to Cricket Wales can enter.

Clubs entering go into 4 regionalised draws in the early rounds, from the Quarter Final stages its an open draw.

74 clubs have entered the 2024 competition.

Clubs have been grouped into 4 regions and then into 8 sub-regions (North, South West, South Central and South East)

The 1st Round has been split over two weekends to ensure umpire availability.
