Just one team in North Wales senior football now has a season-long 100 percent record.

They are Flint Town United Ladies, who have played 12 and won 12 in league and cup.

With eight straight league victories, they are storming towards the North Wales East title and the Silkwomen have won four out of four in the Betty Pickering Cup.

It goes in Flint’s favour that they have not entered any of the tougher knockout competitions, such as the Welsh Cup or NEWFA/NWCFA Challenge Cups, but still a 12-0 record is a fantastic achievement at any level.

Flint are actually on a run of 14 straight victories as they won their final two games of last season too.

Pretty good going for a team in just their second season and who had to endure some heavy defeats in their debut campaign while learning the ropes.

While Corwen men’s team have won all their 10 matches in the North East Wales League Premier Division this term, they have lost five cup ties.

And Pwllheli women are a magnificent 7-0 in North Wales League West, but have lost in the Welsh Cup and NWCFA Women’s Challenge Cup.

Both Corwen and Pwllheli are having awesome campaigns too, though. Hats off to them.

But can anyone stop Flint completing a perfect season? They are likely to be involved in an end-of-season play-off against the West contenders for a place in Tier 2 next season.
