An impressive win for Kinmel Bay put them joint-third and level on 10 points with Northop Hall in North Wales Women’s League East.
Jessica Jones opened the home account after just six minutes in a fast, well-matched game in cold but dry conditions.
Lucy Perry, assisted by Alys Marsh Hughes, widened the gap by making it 2-0 after 22 minutes with the game centred largely in the Berriew goal area during the first half.
In the second half Berriew upped their intensity with strong but unsuccessful challenges into the Bay sector.
It was not until a free kick in the 81st minute that Seren Williams drove in stunning fashion over keeper Catherine Bradley and into the net that the game was totally safe.
Added to the three points, Kinmel had the bonus of another clean sheet for their excellent keeper Shelby Wild.

Six-goal Pwllheli claimed the outright lead of North Wales Women’s League West with a fifth straight victory on Sunday.
Visitors Llanystumdwy gave it their all and could feel proud of their efforts, but it was the Llŷn Peninsula side which took the honours to move three points clear of Llangefni Town.
Two goals in the first eight minutes via Jini Owen Hughes and Lois Thomas’ ninth of the season got the hosts off to a flyer.
Bess Roberts added a third on 33 before three minutes later Sian Moore set up Lowri Hughes for her first goal since returning to the team.
Llanystumdwy made things harder for Pwll in the second half, but the home team still managed two further goals through Sara Williams and Catrin Thomas.
Williams was in goal for the first half, but played out in the second and scored with a strike from the 18-yard box.
Jess Jones made it a phenomenal 32 goals in 13 games this season for Llangefni after notching another four in Sunday’s cup thrashing of Northop Hall.
Almost as remarkable is the fact the 18-year-old has netted in each of those 13 matches she has featured in.
Her tallies per game so far are: 2, 1, 4, 3, 1, 3, 2, 4, 1, 4, 1, 2 and 4 – six hat-tricks and four quadruples.
Sunday’s win was a sixth on the bounce for Cefni, who got the ball rolling through a Marissa George goal on 25 minutes. Jones then struck four times in 16 minutes after 29, 38, 41 and 45 (penalty).
In the second half, fellow forward Ellie Coulson took centre stage with a treble of her own.
Coulson found the net on 49, 68 and 81 minutes, while Catrin George also made the scoresheet.
Five goals on the road for an Amlwch team which struggled at times to break down a stubborn and determined Welshpool.
Emma Roberts missed a penalty in a first half which finished goalless.
The deadlock was broken three minutes into the second half when Shannon Thomas netted from a Leah Jones assist.
Ellie Jones doubled the away advantage when she hit the back of the net, Roberts playing a part in the build-up.
Roberts made the scoresheet herself on 65, Casey Evans with the assist.
Ellie Jones then took the lead when two more goals to complete a hat-trick, scoring on 75 and 76 minutes guided by assists from Roberts and Thomas.
