Ffion Williams is no stranger to fantastic goalscoring feats against big-name teams.
On Sunday, the Felinheli fireball was a four-goal star as the Cae Seilo team shattered Connah’s Quay Nomads’ 100 percent record with a 4-0 victory at Deeside Stadium in the Tier 2 Genero Adran North League.
However, even that achievement was bettered by the 24-year-old just two seasons ago when she bagged FIVE goals in an 8-3 demolition of mighty Wrexham.
While the Red Dragons were not quite the force then they are now, boosted by Hollywood riches and semi-pro status, they still had a strong squad which included goal machine Rosie Hughes, who left the field through illness after 40 minutes.
In the first season of the Adran North, Felinheli were different class that day, Ffion scoring after 9, 18, 82, 89 and 90+ minutes, while Mari Gibbard, now part of the Wrexham set-up, netted two and her sister Gwenno Bolton was also on the mark.
Replying for Wrexham were Lili Jones, who scored twice on her senior debut, and Libby McKenzie.
In that same 2021-22 season, Ffion scored five in a game THREE more times.
She delivered quintets in 14-0 and 17-1 wins over Denbigh in league and Genero Adran Trophy matches and went nap in an 8-4 goalfest against Llanfair United in the AN.
Another memorable day in front of goal for Ffion occurred in 2019-20, when she pocketed a stunning hat-trick in a 4-3 victory at Rhyl in the Welsh Cup.
And going back to 2016-17, she hit SEVEN in a 13-0 win for the team then known as Bethel against Bangor City.
Our records going back to 2017-18 have her down as netting 92 club goals, but as we know she hit seven in a single game in 2016-17, it is safe to assume she has notched more than 100 overall.
