Seven days after a heavy Welsh Cup defeat against Wrexham, Pwllheli responded in the best way possible – a goal-packed win of their own.
An unfortunate own goal by Jess Lane after just two minutes put the Llŷn Peninsula side on their way to victory.
Catrin Thomas soon made it two, Magi Hughes assisting, then scorer turned provider, enabling Bess Roberts to add a third away goal with just eight minutes on the clock.
Lois Thomas then found the net in the 10th minute, Stacey Sansome with the assist.
Lauren Murphy hit back for Caernarfon on the half-hour, but before the break Lois Thomas had completed a hat-trick, Sian Moore and Bess Roberts laying on the goals, and gifted 17-year-old Jini Owen Hughes also netted, Catrin Thomas setting her up.
Before the hour mark, Pwllheli had added another three goals to reach double figures.
Magi Hughes, Lois Thomas and Jini Owen-Hughes were on the mark, Sansome with two assists and captain Hughes one.
Efa Glyn Jones made it 11-1 on 72 minutes and Erin Williams rounded off the scoring, Lois Thomas adding an assist to her four goals.
