Tight at the top of the Bob Brodie Trophy table

Callum Davidson (stripes) on the attack for Menai Bridge Tigers

The goals are flowing in Anglesey senior football and that means the race to finish top scorer on the island is well underway.

The 12th season of the Bob Brodie Trophy sees a familiar name heading the leaderboard.

Last season’s Trophy winner, Asa Thomas of Trearddur Bay, is up to 13 goals, 11 for the first team and two for the Development side.

Hot on his heels are Menai Bridge Tigers pairing Callum Davidson and Callum Graves, both on 12 goals following a flying start to the season for the Treborth side.

Named after a well-known footballer and manager from Holyhead via Glasgow who sadly passed away in 2011, the Bob Brodie rewards the leading netfinder on Ynys Môn every season.

Here is the latest table after matches played Saturday, Sep 30, 2023
