Llandudno Swifts will not compete in the North Wales Coast East League this season.
The new team with an historical name were due to participate in tier 5 Division One, but because of unforeseen circumstances Swifts have been forced to tender their resignation.
As a result, their opponents in the REM Jones Cup first round Betws-y-Coed will advance to the next stage automatically by default.
Meanwhile, the league’s fixtures for August have been released, as have the draws for the Cookson Cup and REM Jones Cup.
Both the Premier and Division One will now comprise 13 teams each this season.
