Brymbo and Colwyn Bay have been kept apart in the semi-finals of the Welsh Cricket Cup.
In today’s last-four draw, Bay landed home advantage against Cardiff, while Brymbo were given a tough away test at holders Swansea. Both ties will take place on Sunday. August 6.
Brymbo celebrated a magnificent eight-wicket victory at Ammanford in Sunday’s quarter-final in Carmarthenshire, while Bay walloped Cowbridge by 204 runs at Penrhyn Avenue in a one-sided last-eight encounter.
The Steelmen from the Wrexham area have lifted the Welsh Cup three times, while Colwyn Bay have won it once, in 2015.
Both Cardiff and Swansea play in the South Wales Premier Cricket League Division One.
Swansea knocked out Division One leaders Newport on Sunday, while Caerdydd had earlier overcome Ynysygerwn.
Swansea are the current Welsh Cup holders, having defeated Port Talbot in the 2022 final after getting past Colwyn Bay in the semis.
