Key knocks from Owen Skillander (47) and Adam De Rycke (36) helped Hawarden set a match-winning score of 207-8 off 45 overs.
David Moulson scooped 2-32 and Edward Rooney 2-42 for Gele, who were then limited to 167 all out.
Moulson led the charge with 57, but the hosts bowled well as a unit, Tom Norris with 3-31 and Fabio Franco 2-50.
