Ha’way the lads! CPD Mynydd Llandegai are right in ‘Toon’ with their past

Mynydd Llandegai’s fantastic new away kit produced by Teejac Sports

Mynydd Llandegai’s new away kit will bring back memories of some great footballers of the past.

The tier 4 North Wales Coast West League Premier Division club, based near Bangor, has had a football team at various periods since 1929. World War 2 intervened but the club was reformed in 1947, wearing kit donated by Newcastle United.

For the 2023/24 season, Mynydd will pay tribute to its past, and will once again don the famous black and white stripes.

The kit’s design is based on the 1984 Newcastle United home shirt, which was worn by legends of the game such as Peter Beardsley, Chris Waddle, Kevin Keegan and Paul Gascoigne.

“A huge thank you to Teejac for designing and sponsoring the new kit,” said a club statement.

“We will be selling replicas of this retro kit and we’ll release details of how you can order and purchase your replica shirt within the next few weeks.”

Mae Mynydd Llandegai wedi bod a thîm pêl-droed dros gyfnodau amrywiol ers 1929. Yn dilyn ergyd yr Ail Ryfel Byd, roedd rhaid ail-sefydlu’r clwb yn 1947, hefo’r hogiau’n gwysgo kit a roddwyd fel rhodd gan Newcastle United.

Yn ystod y tymor 2023/24, mi fydd Mynydd yn talu teyrnged i’r gorffennol, ac yn gwisgo’r streips enwog du a gwyn unwaith yn rhagor.

Mae’r kit wedi’i ddylunio yn seiliedig ar cit Newcastle United yn 1984, a gafodd ei wisgo gan arwyr fel Peter Beardsley, Chris Waddle, Kevin Keegan, a Paul Gascoigne!

Meddai clwb: “Diolch yn fawr i Teejac am gynhyrchu a noddi’r ‘away kit’ newydd.

“Bydd y cit retro ar gael i’n cefnogwyr brynnu a byddwn yn rhyddhau manylion o sut allwch archebu a prynnu eich cit replica chi o fewn yr wythnosau nesaf.”
