North Wales heroes Will Ryan, Jason Foulkes and Harrison Jones all played their part in a comprehensive win for Wales over the MCC at Sudbrook today.
MCC won the toss and batted, but were bowled out for just 107 off 23.5 overs.
Foulkes, formerly star paceman with St Asaph but now playing for Nantwich, opened the bowling and picked up a brilliant 3-21 off six overs.
Spinner Harrison Jones, who has started the 2023 season in magnificent form for Denbigh, especially with the bat, pocketed 1-14 off his three overs.
When it was Wales’ turn to bat, they made light work of their 108 victory target.
And in great nick was St Asaph skipper Will Ryan, who scored 46 in a match-clinching third wicket stand of 83 with Tom Norton (48).
Will hit nine fours in his 39-ball effort.
A fantastic day for Cricket Wales and their northern stars.
