No surprise at all that Wrexham AFC Women’s chief STEVE DALE named the GENERO ADRAN NORTH 2022-23 MANAGER OF THE SEASON.
Dale, 32, will receive his accolade at tonight’s FAW National Awards.
It has been a perfect season for the Red Dragons under Dale, comprising 12 wins out of 12 in landing the Genero Adran North title and then coming out on top in a promotion play-off with Briton Ferry Llansawel to secure Adran Premier football in 2023-24.
Dale has previously worked with Gresford Athletic, Wrexham AFC Boys Centre of Excellence and Liverpool FC Girls.
Away from the women’s team, he also coaches within the Girls Performance Centre with the U8s and U16s.
He became interim manager for Wrexham AFC Women in November 2021 and landed the post on a permanent basis later that month.
Dale has won 21 out of 22 league matches since he took over, the only defeat coming against Llandudno in the 2021-22 title decider.
