Ruabon Rovers pairing Swarbrick and Kendrick form their own 100 Goals Club

This week saw Ruabon Rovers pair Andrew Swarbrick and Conner Kendrick become members of The 100 Club.

The twin front men reached 100 goals between them for the season during Ruabon’s 12-0 win at Johnstown on Tuesday night.

Andrew, 34, who once scored a hat-trick in a Welsh Cup semi-final for Cefn Druids, has netted 55 times in 31 games, while Conner, 27, a past FAW Trophy winner with Mold Alexandra, is on 45 goals from 33 matches.

Both are believed to have set career bests for goals in a single season.

And they have not finished yet! Ruabon still have the Horace Wynne Cup Final against FC Queen’s Park to come on Friday, May 19, as well as league games versus Caerwys and FC United of Wrexham.

In the 22 matches Conner Kendrick has scored for Ruabon Rovers this season, they have not lost once – 21 wins and a draw

Andrew Swarbrick must enjoy facing Johnstown. He has scored 15 goals in four meetings with them this season.

The pair scored eight goals between them in an 18-0 thrashing of Bellevue on April 26 – Swarbrick six and Kendrick two.

Neither man is top-scorer in the Championship Division at present. Kendrick has 33, Swarbrick 29, but leading the chart on 36 is Sam Giles of Acton.
