The battle to finish top scorer in the North Wales Women’s League this season could go down to the final kick.

For most of the campaign, Bangor 1876’s Aussie wonder Stevie Donougher has been top of the chart, but her team’s fixtures have long finished and the league title secured. Stevie’s final total was 27.

Just two goals behind are NFA’s Sade Benjamin, whose team have two matches left versus Pwllheli home and away, and Jen Cox of Llangefni Town, who finish their schedule with a visit to Llanfairfechan this Sunday.

Also in the mix are on 21 goals, Tesni Hughes of Amlwch Town, who still have Pwllheli and Northop Hall to face at home and Denbigh Town away, plus Lois Thomas, on 18 for Pwllheli, who must fit in four more matches.
