Something heartwarming on a negative weekend for North Wales football

Not everything which happened in North Wales football over the Easter weekend has brought joy – far from it.

We have seen and heard about things which have no place in the game.

So it was uplifting to view this photo from a women’s game involving Conwy Borough taken by Damon Mead.

Female football is so often a shining example of how the sport should conduct itself.

And the happiness these three ladies are sharing after a goal was scored sums up what the women’s game is about.

Let’s take this image forward and try to move on from the dark places ventured to this weekend.
