A third away league win on the bounce kept Llandudno on course for a successful end to a testing season.
The former Genero Adran North champions are assured of third place this season, regardless of what happens in their remaining games at home to Connah’s Quay Nomads (March 30, 7.30 pm) and Llanfair United (Apr 2, 2 pm)..
Sarah Colville’s side will also defend the NWCFA Challenge Cup when they take on CPDM Y Felinheli in the final at Nantlle Vale on April 16.
The game at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium started off in lively fashion with both teams fighting for everything.
Llandudno forced the Airbus keeper into a few early saves before the opening goal came in the 19th minute.
Erin Doran took a corner which dropped at the back post leading to a scramble and Stacey Tradewell found the net with the aid of a deflection off a home player.
Doran almost made it two when she controlled a clearance from the hosts and her instant effort hit the crossbar and went out for a goal kick.
In the 40th minute Shona Roberts saw the opportunity to hit the ball over the defence, releasing Jasmin Dutton to round the keeper and pass through the goalmouth for Becky Jarvis- Evans to be there at the right time and slot home.
Half-time: 0-2
At the start of the second half the game could have changed with Airbus determined to end their season on a high, but Caitlyn Bibby-Fry made some good saves.
After 55 minutes Llandudno went down to 10 players when Dutton was red-carded for retaliating to an incident involving opponent Georgia Spibey, who was shown a yellow.
Llandudno took a good 30 minutes into the second half to get their third goal.
Another Doran corner hit the penalty spot, leading to a melee, which this time saw Maddie Williams slot the ball calmly in the bottom left-hand corner.
