In a six-goal thriller Kinmel Bay were denied maximum points when Cory Young completed a hat-trick of penalties for Llanfairfechan three minutes into added time.
The home team, three-way managed by Leon Field, Andy Thomas and Alex Craig, took the lead when Connor Morris opened the scoring from an Oliver Gray free-kick in the 23rd minute.
Llanfair equalised in the 40th minute when Young converted from the spot.
Half time it was 1-1, but in the 63rd minute a Gray throw-in was flicked on by Tate Walker and Ian Dunn’s scissor kick flew into the top right hand corner to make it 2-1
In the 79th minute, Kinmel keeper Elijah Beattie was adjudged to have brought down an opponent when through on goal. Penalty awarded and Young obliged again.
Three minutes later, the hosts scored what they thought was the winner. Gray’s corner was met by Walker who headed in off the crossbar.
With eight minutes to go some game management was now needed from the home side.
However, there was a dramatic end in the 93rd minute when Beattie was adjudged to have fouled again and a penalty was given.
The challenge appeared to be outside the box and after questioning the referee’s decision Beattie was red-carded.
Young calmly made it 3-3 from the penalty, leaving Bay frustrated they did not take all the points.
Jamie Jones, Haydn Griffiths and Morgan Roberts grabbed the goals which sealed Phoenix maximum points, John Gardner with a late reply from the spot for Bro, who had Trystan Roberts dismissed for a second yellow on 78 minutes.
Sam Jones and Tom Jones supplied the first half goals which earned second-placed Llannefydd the honours.
Leon Gierke’s net-finder four minutes past the 90 salvaged a point for Llansannan.
Euros Lloyd and Gruffudd Roberts were also on target for the hosts, Andrew Merner (2) and Ryan Gordon with Rhuddlan’s responses.
Richard Harvey-Davies’ first-minute goal was all that Llandyrnog needed to claim a home victory.
Dyrny had Conor Jones red-carded on 32 minutes but held on for the points with 10 men.
Ryan Williams’ fifth-minute strike clinched the win which stretched third-place Junction’s undefeated run in the Premier Division to 11 matches.
James Williams and Ellis Blench delivered the early second-half goals which ensured St Asaph retain a four-point lead at the Premier summit.
Sports lost at home in the league for the first time this season to an adventurous Cerrig outfit.
Tomos Jones put the visitors ahead from the penalty spot in the third minute, but Ian Griffiths made it 1-1 after 10 and Mike Jones added another on 14.
A second Jones penalty brought Cerrig level at the break.
Griffiths converted a spot-kick on 53 minutes to edge Sports back ahead – his 18th goal of the season – but Llion Thomas restored parity after 57.
Tirion Griffiths then nudged Cerrig in front in the 67th minute before Tomos Jones completed his hat-trick after 76.
Lee Beattie was sent off for the home side after receiving a second yellow seven minutes from time.
Harrison Bellis put away an astonishing SEVEN goals as Y Glannau went to town on visitors Henllan.
Bellis, whose haul included one penalty, pushed his tally for the season up to 42, including 27 in the league.
Joey Fontana added a single for the hosts, while Rhys Bennett bagged a consolation for the away side, who had Dominic Griffin-Chamberlain red carded after 64.
On his much-welcomed return to Llysfaen, Sean Sheridan was unfortunately red-carded on 36 minutes with Clwyd’s David Clayton also receiving his marching orders.
Keiran Kendrick had put Clwyd ahead on 12 minutes, Tom Collier levelled on 37, but veteran Nathan Bridges made it 2-1 to the visitors at half time.
Francis Roberts added a third for Clwyd on 61 and despite an 83rd minute reply from Steven Collins, Llysfaen ended up pointless.
Ten of the best from NFA with Niall McGuinness pocketing a hat-trick, Owen Butters and Jordan Taylor two apiece, man of the match Dale Lee one and there were singles for Matthew Robinson and Ryan Williams.
Captain Joe Smith scored All Stars’ only goal.
