Robert Reynolds scored a hat-trick as Gresford romped to a magnificent seven-goal success over Buckley at Clappers Lane on Sunday.

Zak Dobie, James Reynolds, Callum Wakefield and Ells Rowland all scored one goal.

The result lifts Gresford, who were one off the basement before kick-off, out of the bottom three.

Hawarden Rangers Reserves 2 Penycae Reserves 4

Jaden Jones struck twice as Penycae strengthened their grip on third spot with victory at Gladstone Playing Fields on Saturday.

Evan Davies put the visitors ahead on the half-hour and it remained 1-0 up to half time.

Three minutes after the restart, Stephen Wilson pulled Rangers level, but in no time Gary Evans made it 2-1 ti Penycae.

Jaden Jones notched his first just before the hour before a Jac Scott own goal handed Hawarden a lifeline.

However, Jones’ second on 76 turned out to be the match-clinching goal.

NWCFA RESERVE LEAGUE

Bow Reserves 3 Bontnewydd Reserves 1

Prestatyn-based Bow nudged up to sixth in the 10-team North Wales Coast Reserves League after beating lowly Bontnewydd 3-1 on Sunday.

New signing Kai Paolucci confirmed his promise by giving the hosts an 11th minute lead.

Elliot Price added a second for the home team on 26.

Bow’s Shane Bradley was shown a red card after 32 minutes, but the hosts stayed on top and made it 3-0 through Josh Lally on 61.

Sub Ifan Evans pulled a goal back for Bont, but there was no further scoring.

Pwllheli Reserves 2 Nefyn United Reserves 0

Connor Livingstone and Steffan Toplis produced the goals which sealed maximum points for Pwllheli in Saturday’s Llŷn Peninsula derby.

Pwll vault into second above Nefyn as a consequence of the result. The Rec side are one point behind leaders Penmaenmawr Phoenix Reserves, but have played two games more.
