Mari leads the Goalden Girls table after stunning double hat-trick in the Welsh Cup

As Del Boy and Rodney (almost) said to each other once: “She’ll have worse days”

Sunday, October 30, 2022 was a special date for Mari Gibbard as not only did she score six goals in the Welsh Cup, she also went top of the Goalden Girls table.

Mari’s double hat-trick put her on 13 for the season, one ahead of last season’s Golden Boot winner Rosie Hughes.

No doubt Rosie will soon be back on top, but it’s always nice to see another name or two up there.
