Colwyn Bay 100-0 (Net Score 300) Northop Hall 84-9 (Net Score 239)
Result: Colwyn Bay (20 pts) beat Northop Hall (3) by 60 runs

Colwyn Bay made it four straight wins this season and went top of the North Wales Women’s Cricket League after a convincing victory over Northop Hall.

Wednesday’s game at Penrhyn Avenue saw the Bay put into bat and chalk up an impressive 100 without loss from their 16 overs.

Hannah Kennedy and Kerry Roberts led the way with net scores of 13 and 10 respectively, but everyone played their part.

As opposed to the Colwyn innings, wickets fell regularly in the Hall reply, which ended on 84-9.

Hester Evans-Ford topped the batting with a net score of 8, Sarah Armstrong made seven and Becky Hicks was once out in making 11 (net 6).

Sue Wolfendale starred in the bowling for the hosts, scooping 3-15, Jane Smith picked up 2-2 and Samantha Sherrington grabbed 2-12.

Bay won by 61 runs and took the points 20-3.
