Billy Swarbrick led the Chirk bowling with 4-31, Nick Flack scooped 3-29 and Andrew Swarbrick 3-36.
The hosts’ openers then took centre stage. Jones finished on 92 not out and Partridge was out for 63 as Chirk eased to 174-1 in 33.2.
It was a first team career best for Jones.
