Points were shared in the big local derby as Y Clwb and FC Mally drew 2-2.

Mally had the better chances in the early exchanges but couldn’t convert and were punished when Y Clwb took the lead through Max Williams.

The Junction men felt hard done to as a clear handball appeared to be missed in lead up to the goal.

Mally pulled themselves level before the break when a free kick fell to Kyle Robb at the back post and his deflected effort found the net for 1-1.

Y Clwb were this time believing they were wronged as they felt offside should have been called.

Half-time: 1-1

With the game in the balance both sides tried to get in front in what was a great battle,

Y Clwb retook the lead when a mistake at the back led to Max Williams running clean through to score although there were again cries of offside.

Mally showed great character again and started to get on top. When Stevie Jones was released on goal he made no mistake to convert for 2-2.

The visitors were now on top and pushing for victory but couldn’t quite find the cutting edge and a late penalty appeal turned down for Y Clwb could have seen the game turn again in the end.

The 2-2 outcome was probably a fair result meaning the league remains very open with a couple of games remaining.

Mally and Y Clwb lock horns again next weekend in the North Wales Coast Sunday Challenge Cup Final.

Six Bells 1 (Max Dilworth OG)
Rhyl Wanderers 3 (Harrison Bellis 2, Dave Coleman)

Two clinical goals from Harrison Bellis followed by a third from returning soldier Dave Coleman ensured Wanderers took the points in this all-Rhyl encounter.

Assists came from Oli Gray, Carl Howard and a very clever free kick from Luke Bradshaw.

Six Bells replied when a corner wasn’t dealt with. Max Dilworth, who otherwise had an incredible game, turned the ball into his own goal for 3-1.

Michael Bellis switched from left wing-back to goalkeeper and played fantastically for the Wanderers.

Six Bells voted Oli Gray for man of the match, but it could easily have been any of the Wanderers on the field today.

Josh Jones and Jack Edwards were the two contenders for the Bells.

How often in football history has a team at the top of any league lost a match 10-0?

Not too regularly for sure, but this is what happened to Royal Oak as Conwy Comrades hit double figures and roared to the summit on goal difference.

20 seconds into the first half Tom Paddock crossed in a ball for Jamie Haggas to finish with a diving header.

Surprisingly, that was it for goals in the first 45 minutes, although the Comrades were on top for the most part.

After the restart that man again Haggas was played through and chipped the keeper for 2-0.

Paddock soon made it three when he found the bottom corner.

The next four goals all came from Lee Stokes, including a brilliant chip being the highlight of the lot.

Being 7-0 up, Comrades made changes and they paid dividends instantly with Rob Gore making it 8-0 with a near post finish.

Another super sub Skye Shields made it 9-0 with determined chasing of the ball and firing through the keeper’s legs.

Haggas completed his hat-trick when he converted a Gore cross at the back post.
