NORTH WALES COAST WEST DIVISION ONE REPORTS – APRIL 15

Cemaes Bay 5 Llangoed and District 1

Title hopefuls Cemaes regained third spot in Division One tonight after a comfortable home success over Llangoed.

Sam Wiltshire set the ball rolling for the hosts with a 17th minute opener and Keenan Downey doubled the lead from a Ryan Folksman assist on 28.

Luke McKittrick added a third before half time to put the School Lane hosts totally in command.

Kieran Murphy gave Llangoed a bit of hope when he replied for the visitors on 71 minutes, but substitute Andy Williams made it 4-1 before an 89th minute strike from Mathew Roberts ended the scoring.

Hosts Bodorgan were right in this contest until Mike Edwards hit an 88th minute fourth goal for Caergybi.

Tom Hadley handed the away side an eighth-minute advantage which they held to half time.

Four minutes into the second half Aron Davies equalised, but Sion Thomas made the most of a Glenn North assist to restore Caergybi”s lead on 55.

Louis Chapman’s 41st goal of the campaign made it 3-1 to the Holyhead team on 72 minutes, but a Luke Winter penalty soon after kept Bodorgan in touch.

Edwards clinched it two minutes from time and in the 90th minute home manager John Webster was shown a red card.
