Sensational news for Anglesey and North Wales football – Bodedern Athletic are now officially the best performing non-league team in the UK.
Boded made it 18 league wins in 18 games this afternoon with a 6-0 thrashing of Glantraeth in the Welsh tier 4 North Wales Coast West Premier Division.
And that makes them the No 1 club in the Global League Stats table published by the Non-League Matters website.
Before today, Cornwall side Falmouth Town were top of the tree with a perfect 20 straight wins in the South West Peninsula Premier Division.
However, The Ambers fell at the 21st hurdle when they lost 3-2 at home this afternoon to fifth-place St Blazey. The result sends Falmouth down to 14th in the table.
NLM lists the top 250 non-league clubs with the best records on a weekly basis.
Bodedern now lead the way with a record of: played 18 won 18 goals for 82 goals against 11.
Ricky Williams’ side already had far and away the best stats in Wales, with only CPD Y Rhyl 1879, Chirk Town and Prestatyn Sports otherwise in the top 50 before today.
Only six other clubs apart from Bodedern now have 100 percent records across non-league football in the UK.
Although the NLM has not yet updated the Welsh stats today (as at 6 pm) the table nonetheless shows Bodedern in the number one spot (see link below).
