Unbeaten CPD Y Rhyl 1879 now have a game on Saturday after all.
After their initial fixture at home to Rhuddlan Town was cancelled, a meeting with Penmaenmawr Phoenix has now been arranged for tomorrow at Belle Vue, kick-off 2 pm.
Unfortunately the game is open to season ticket holders only due to government restrictions the club must adhere to. Only 50 spectators are currently allowed to attend matches.
Rhyl are currently third in the tier 4 North Wales Coast East League Premier – and with nine wins and a draw in their 10 matches are the only undefeated team in the division.
Penmaenmawr are fifth in the table and entertained Rhyl 1879 on the opening week of the season.
Gareth Thomas’ Rhyl won that one 3-2, two goals from top marksman Carl Lamb and another via Tom Cain sealing the points.
Daniel Williams had put Phoenix ahead, but the visitors hit back to lead 3-1 and clinch victory in their first-ever league game. Chris Quinn notched a late consolation for Pen.
Rhyl 1879 are on a run of 10 straight wins in all competitions dating back to September 11.
