The possibility of an all-North Wales FAW Under-16 Girls Cup final is in the air.
Yesterday’s semi-final draw saw Caernarfon Town and Penrhyn Bay kept apart.
Caernarfon won their quarter-final against Brickfield 9-1 on Saturday (no further details available).
Penrhyn Bay automatically entered the last four after opponents Thornhill withdrew from the competition.
In the 2021-22 semi-finals, which will be played at neutral grounds, Caernarfon will face Cardiff City, while Bay take on Treowen Stars.
The matches will be played on February 14.
Both Caernarfon and Penrhyn Bay have won this cup before.
In 2013-14, the Cofis lifted the national trophy as part of a quadruple, defeating Llanyrafon 2-0 in the final, Lois Regan and Nel Huws with the goals.
Penrhyn were 2018-19 winners, Ella Jones scoring a famous hat-trick in a 3-2 triumph over Villa Dino Christchurch. They also landed a quadruple that term.
Bay were beaten finalists last season, going down 4-3 to Barry Town United despite a stunning hat-trick from Sophie Rawling.
