Cole and Yorke, Shearer and Sutton, Keegan and Toshack – great striking partnerships of the past.

This season fans of an Anglesey club are celebrating their own version of the above three duos – Jay Finter and Marquis Holland.

The pair have notched more than 30 goals between them for a Llanfairpwll side emerging as potential title contenders in North Wales Coast West Division One.

Last week, Grassroots North Wales put Marquis in the spotlight, so now it’s the turn of Jay, a 20-year-old livewire who has netted 19 times in 15 appearances this term.
