Asa Thomas notched his first hat-trick of the season as Bodedern made it 11 straight wins in all competitions with a seven-goal salvo at Glantraeth.

The game was all over as a contest by half time, at which stage Ricky Williams’ men had established a 5-0 lead.

Marc Evans grabbed a double to move up to 17 goals for the season before Thomas scored a SIX-MINUTE TREBLE between the 37th and 43rd.

Asa is now on 18 goals for the campaign.

After the turnaround Darren Lewthwaite got in on the act for Boded with a double before Steve Smith notched a consolation for the hosts.

NORTH WALES COAST WEST LEAGUE DIVISION ONE

Llanfairpwll 4 (Marquis Holland 40, Jay Finter 45+1 & 90, Robat Williams 62)
Llangoed & District 3 (Wayne Thomas 15, Anthony Williams 70 & 75)

In-form Llanfairpwll edged up to joint second in Division One with a thrilling victory over a very competitive Llangoed outfit at Maes Eilian.

Two of the division’s most prolific hitmen – Jay Finter of Llanfairpwll and Llangoed’s Anthony Williams – both scored two apiece.

Wayne Thomas struck first for the visitors before goals from Marquis Holland and Finter close to half time turned the tables.

Robat Williams made it 3-1 just past the hour, but Anthony Williams showed his finishing skills with a quick double to level the match.

The points were there for the taking and Llanfairpwll took them, Finter with a last-gasp winner and his 10th goal of the season.

Bontnewydd 2 (Gari Owen 20, Osian McGuinness 65 pen)
Bethesda Athletic 6 (Joe Todd 24 & 80, Tomos Hughes 43, Noa Hughes 45 & 45 +, Kyle Hartleb 81)

Resurgent Bethesda Athletic made it five matches unbeaten – four wins and a draw – by hitting Bontnewydd for six.

After losing their first three in all competitions, Mark Hughes’ men have rallied superbly in recent weeks and are climbing rapidly up the table.

Joe Todd and Noa Hughes both struck twice at Cae Stanley, while Tomos Hughes and Kyle Hartleb were also on target.

Gari Owen and Osian McGuinness (penalty) provided consolations for Bont.
