Thursday night football: Wins for Caergybi and Llanfairpwll

Unbeaten Caergybi sit top of Division One after a comfortable 5-0 success over CPD Y Fali at Millbank tonight.

Gary-Jo Owen broke the deadlock in the 31st minute before midfielder Dave Webb doubled the lead in first half added time.

Owen made it a double midway through the second half, then Caergybi made the points ultra safe with two goals in the last five minutes.

Louis Chapman put away his 17th goal of the season before Marc Thomas rounded off the scoring.

Llanfairpwll 8 (Luke Owen 3, Jay Finter 2, Marquis Holland, Cian Glyn, Cian Williams)

Llanfairpwll were in ruthless form in front of goal against new side Bethesda Rovers.

Hat-trick hero Luke Owen struck twice inside the first quarter-hour to give a hint of what was to come.

Cian Owen added a third, Luke Owen made it a treble from the penalty spot, and Marquis Holland grabbed number five before the turnaround.

Jay Finter got in on the act in the second half with a double and in the 80th minute Cian Williams completed the rout.
