How did Wednesday night’s Nathaniel MG Cup draw turn out?

The third round draw for the Nathaniel MG Cup has a very familiar look about it.

Clubs have been paired with foes they have faced many times before in the recent past.

Perhaps the most interesting tie is Bangor City v Bala Town.

While the Citizens have performed pretty well on occasion in the tier 2 Cymru North this term, regular Cymru Premier high flyers Bala will be a much bigger test.

Colin Caton’s side will not have too much experience of facing Bangor’s talented South Americans, but they are becoming old heads at a certain level in European competition and will be difficult opponents for City.

Full draw – Ties to be played September 21-22

North
Bangor City v Bala Town
Connah’s Quay Nomads v Airbus UK Broughton
Newtown v Caernarfon Town
Prestatyn Town v Holywell Town

South
Aberystwyth Town v Cardiff Met University
Barry Town United v Trefelin BGC
Haverfordwest County v Undy Athletic
Penrhyncoch v Pontypridd Town
