Two quality signings were recently announced by CPD Bangor 1876.
Veteran goalkeeper Ben Heald and dynamic front man Harry Galeotti have joined the tier 4 North Wales Coast Premier Division club.
Much-decorated Heald, 38, has won a host of trophies in his career including tier-three trebles with Holyhead Hotspur (2011-12) and Conwy Borough (2017-18).
His other clubs include Llanfairpwll, Llangefni Town, Glantraeth, Caernarfon Town, Bangor City and Rhyl.
Heald has also participated in three Island Games tournaments with Ynys Môn.
Galeotti started his career in the Llanfairpwll junior set-up before joining the Bangor City academy.
He then progressed to senior football where he played on Anglesey with Glantraeth, Llangefni and Holyhead Hotspur before gaining experience of tier 2 football with Conwy Borough, where he was a regular during the 2019-20 season.
Treborth will be a familiar setting for the new man as he has played there for the Bangor University men’s football team. He has also been selected for the Welsh Universities men’s football squad.
Departing 1876 are defender Matty Lock, who has joined Conwy Borough and midfielder Kieran Williams, now a new face at Llangefni Town.
