Skipper Nathan Pierce hit a decisive 51 for winners Northop before retiring in Sunday’s tussle at Moor Lane.

Hawarden elected to bat and set 111-8 off 40 overs, Aled Wilkinson top-scoring with 32, Stanley Gomes 3-15 for the visitors.

Northop made 113-3 off 31.4, Pierce retiring not out after making his half-ton, Charlie Collins adding 35, while James Martin took 2-21 off eight for Park.

Richard Windmill finished 63 not out as Conwy cruised to victory against the Bay at Bodlondeb.

Colwyn were put in and struggled to 113 all out off 38 overs, Tom O’Melia 29, Dan Kay 3-19, Abhijeet Kumar 2-17, Harry Driscoll 2-18 and Llinos Hill 2-30 bowling well for the hosts.

Conwy then coasted to 114-1 in 24.5 overs, opener Ed Favill (40 no) providing good support to Windmill.

MOCHDRE 3RD XI (1) 160-8 LLANDUDNO 3RD XI (14) 164-2

Tudno thirds comfortably won Sunday’s derby by eight wickets.

Mochdre opted to bat and were restricted to 160-8 off 40 overs, Owen Davies hitting 42 and Owen Opie 25.

Ten Llandudno players got to bowl, Luke Robinson picking up 2-17 and Ben Turner-Renshaw 2-24.

The visitors got to 164-2 in 33.1 overs for a 14-1 points result.

Opener Tom Thornton (49) and Elliott Hughes (33) started off well, Lucas Hughes (30 no) and Oliver Hughes (26 no) continuing the fine work.
