Result: Bethesda win by 31 runs

Bethesda made it three straight wins in the North Wales Women’s Cricket League and are now second in the table.

In the only match played at Parc Villa today, with Northop Hall unable to attend, Pesda won the toss and put the opposition in.

Dolgellau scored 90-2 off their 16 overs for a net score of 280. The ever-consistent Bernie Conneely scored 19, while for the hosts Elin Pritchard claimed 2-9.

In response, Pesda made a very impressive 131-4, Cushia Luxton leading the way with 23 off 18 balls, Ellie Creek 18, skipper Hannah Jones 17 and Elin Pritchard 13.

A 31-run triumph for Bethesda, therefore, and a perfect start for the Ogwen Valley team.
