Rhuddlan Town have announced an exciting new signing as they begin preparations for the 2021-22 football season.
Josh Brown, who joins from St Asaph City, is a new face with tier 4 North Wales Coast East Premier Division side Rhuddlan.
New Town manager Keiran Evans is delighted to recruit a player whose other former clubs are Rhyl Athletic and Rhyl Youth.
“Josh is a fantastic player who will bring a lot to Rhuddlan Town,” he said. “He did an excellent job with St Asaph in what is a competitive division.
“Josh has a good eye for goal and plays with an unbelievable amount of energy. He will bring more pace to the side and has a real passion for the game. I believe he will bring out more from the other players at Rhuddlan Town and will enjoy looking to play again with some of his close friends.”
Secretary and former manager Wayne Hughes added: “We are looking at bringing more quality in like Josh; we have had quite a bit of interest lately but we only want players that will help us challenge and improve.
“We have been unlucky with injuries, losing Jacob Parry to an ACL tear so he will be out long term but we have managed to bring in Joel Poh and are looking to add another two players of this quality.”
Poh is a well-regarded local player who scored plenty of goals for Sunday side The Millbank last season and had played for Denbigh Town Reserves.
