Cefn Druids have parted company with first team head coach Bruno Lopes.
Druids are bottom of the Cymru Premier League following last night’s 4-2 home loss to Newtown.
Lopes joined the club at the start of 2020-21, having been interim head coach for Portuguese Primeira Liga side Portimonense last season, stepping up from his role as U23s boss.
Under his leadership, the Ancients had won just three of their 18 Cymru Premier matches.
The Portuguese’s departure following the exit of The New Saints manager and assistant, Scott Ruscoe and Steve Evans, just four days ago.
A brief statement on the Druids website said: “Cefn Druids Football Club has decided to part company with first team head coach Bruno Lopes with immediate effect.
“The club would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Bruno, who is currently in Portugal with his family, and wish him well for the future.
“The club’s head of coaching, Jayson Starkey, will take temporary charge of team affairs, as the club prepares the search for the next permanent manager, with the post being advertised in due course.
“The club will be making no further statement at this time.”
