Tremendous capture for Bodorgan from one of Anglesey’s biggest clubs Llangefni.
Jones is an excellent player who featured at tier 2 level for Cefni last season.
His most notable achievements included scoring the winner in a 2-1 success at Llandudno.
Bodorgan management comment: “Beyond delighted to get a player of this quality in – a massive, massive signing for us!”
A great attacking winger who brings with him a wealth of experience having played in the Welsh Alliance divisions over the past few years.
Sports manager John Hargreaves said: “He’s a player we have wanted to sign for the last few seasons and we can now proudly say he’s a Sports player again. A great addition to the club and we’re sure he will be weighing in with a decent goal tally this season.”
Ryan returns after leaving the club a few years ago to take up hockey. He then had a brief spell at NFA last season.
A great box to box player with bags of energy.
Sports boss John Hargreaves: “A great lad to have around and a great player too and welcomed back with pleasure, sure to be an important part of the forthcoming season.”
Another player returning to the Sports after a few years away playing lower division football.
Sports manager John Hargreaves: “He’s looking like the old Sam in training. Is another real character the lads love to have around, great defensive player, good with the ball and great in the air…..welcome back Sam lad!”
An attacking player who is very quick, strong and powerful.
Sam was part of the U18s at the club last season, but not involved with the senior set up.
He has been training for the past 4-5 weeks and has proved he is willing to learn and work hard to fight for his place in the Amateurs senior side.
Former Trearddur Bay Bulls defender/striker commits to Caergybi for the season ahead.
Williams was also a big success at previous club Bryngwran Bulls.
Caergybi manager Dale Moffat said: “We have been hard at work building our squad over the last few weeks and are delighted to be getting where we are.
“Anton will be a great asset to us – he is a tall, energetic player who can play up top or in defence, so he will be very useful for us.
“He is great in the air – and we should know as he has scored many against us previously.”
After trying to recruit a goalkeeper for the new season, the Amateurs have suddenly had five training with the club.
Nellist has shown his excellent ability during pre-season. After the first sessions, he was very keen to get on board.
Callum finished last season with Penrhyn Bay and comes to the Amateurs to fight for the No 1 spot.
Has played in goal for Sunday league team The Alex for a number of seasons being the hero in a couple of penalty shootouts in cups.
Pedro wanted to train for the club to improve in certain aspects of his game.
He has been training extremely hard and his ability and agility has been there to see during these sessions.
Pedro provides very good competition to the other 2 signed keepers at the club and the Amateurs hope his experience will also help young Callum Nellist develop.
Another fine signing by the ambitious Wrexham area club.
Sean played for the Cae two seasons ago and started last term, but decided to finish playing football due to work commitments.
He has now returned and is working extremely hard on fitness and in training he has been flying ahead of the new season.
Close friend and Amateurs assistant-manager Gaz Sharp has been working on getting Chris out of football retirement for a long time and the club is delighted to announce it’s finally happened.
Smyth has been training with the club for around a month now and taking part in extra sessions, but was unsure what to do in the next step of his career. However, the club can finally say he will now become an Amateur.
Chris will bring plenty of goals to the side as he’s proven over the years, having spent some excellent seasons with Llandudno United, Llandudno Albion and Llanfairfechan Town, before becoming a very successful personal trainer and MMA fighter after taking a break from football.
